vLex notifications

1. What are vLex notifications?

vLex notifications are alerts that we send you when there is an update that is relevant to you. We not only include the notifications in your news stream, but we can also send a web alert to your browser (if you have previously accepted notifications), to your vLex Mobile application (if you have installed it and accepted notifications), or to your email.

The idea is to always keep you informed about relevant legal news. From now on, being informed will be much easier.

How do we do it?

  • We make sure that you receive the news before anyone else, and deliver it to you by your preferred method: email, browser alerts or mobile alerts.
  • We save you time by selecting and curating the most relevant news.
  • We send you only what is important to you
  • We help you discover new content and broaden your knowledge

2. How to get the notifications?

  • Web Push Notifications. You will receive these notifications via web or mobile if you have previously chosen to receive them on your browser. You can accept push web notifications from your browser using the acceptance box that is displayed when you enter vLex for the first time.
  • E-mail notifications. In the Notifications Center you can select if you want to receive a summary of your personalized news by email. It will give you the option to choose if you would like the summary email to be delivered daily or weekly.
  • vLex Mobile notifications. You will need to install the vLex Mobile app.

3. How can I stop receiving notifications?

  • To stop receiving notifications for the SmartTopics that you’re following go to “Edit your vLex” and in the box that says “Would you like to receive SmartTopic notifications?” and “Would you like to receive a summary of your customized notifications (Digest) via email?” select the option “No” and/or “Do not send a digest by e-mail”. Keep in mind that you’ll continue to receive notifications for documents or periodicals that you’re following.
  • To stop receiving notifications for a document or periodical you’re following: go to the document (legislation, form, contract, etc.) or periodical (journal, magazine) and select the “Unfollow” button.
